The end game nears? – Aging may soon be soon be called a disease

This article is discussing trying to call aging a disease so that they can apply to the FDA for a trial using a diabetes medication called Metformin to treat it. This is an unfounded and really bad idea.

I don’t believe aging could be considered a disease because it isn’t a discrete condition. The best way to ensure that nothing every gets cured and that money is wasted is to let the medicalindustrialacademic complex call it a disease.

A good analogy would be the war on cancer, which has proven to be an endless resource drain on par with the so-called Arab-Israeli conflict.

  • Have a Cigar
    Song by Pink Floyd
Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar.
You’re gonna go far, you’re gonna fly high,
You’re never gonna die, you’re gonna make it if you try; they’re gonna love you.
Well, I’ve always had a deep respect, and I mean that most sincerely.
The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think.
Oh by the way, which one’s Pink?
And did we tell you the name of the game, boy?
We call it Riding the Gravy Train.
