Why does the universe exist?

Hello and thanks for reading. I have been a bit remiss in blogging because of some problems with my website and because I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed.

In the past six weeks, I have been asked to step outside of my comfort zone in many ways and as a result, I have experienced a lot of painful yet much needed personal growth.

Now that my website is safely migrated to a new server environment, I will see what emerges. Thank you for all those that continue to read, consider, and sometimes enjoy what I write. It means a great deal to me.

Today’s blog will simply be to introduce you to a wonderful person whom I met during a Renaissance Weekend, Professor Stephon Alexander. In my unbridled enthusiasm, I try to make some wild guesses about the nature of the universe while staying grounded in the available science (thanks to Professor Alexander.)

If you are at all interested in cosmology and the fundamental nature of the universe, this 37 minute video might be a useful point of departure for your own investigations.

Let’s see what happens with this daily blog idea. One down, how many more to go?
