Before The Great Awakening of the early 20th century, when gambling was out of favor and the collective memory of thoroughbred racing’s “blackness” was lost, horse racing was America’s only popular national sport and that the greatest jockeys were all African-American.

Rainbows and Aging- I know the how, but not the why
Although I understand the “how” of refracted sunlight creating rainbows and the “how” of telomere erosion in stem cells causing aging, I don’t yet grasp the whys.

You are not in control of your physiology – and that’s a good thing
We are NOT in control of our micronutrients and cellular signaling and that is good thing. The system is so remarkably complex and integrated that it would be like asking a deaf person to write and conduct a symphony.
